I am very passionate about Tracker and its people. I have thoroughly enjoyed my tenure here over the past 6 years and have thrived in the many challenges we have faced and overcome.
From handling the financial and cultural complications arising from the merger of Tracker and MobileData, to bedding down a unified finance department capable of servicing the largest vehicle tracking customer base in the country, I am very grateful for the role I have been able to play in helping to shape Tracker into the market leader it is today.
When Tracker’s head office burnt down two years ago, I was charged with the position of overall Disaster Recovery Director, a process which ultimately culminated in the rescue of Tracker’s business, a successful move to Tracker’s current head office campus and total fulfillment of our insurance cover.
I feel privileged to have been able to help guide a wonderful group of people who pulled together where others would have failed. I feel very strongly about my team and the people I work with. I function with a great deal of energy and enthusiasm. So much so, in fact, that sometimes my exuberance and direct approach to what’s best for Tracker can sometimes be interpreted as an occasional lack of tact.
I am very output-focused and take great pleasure from overcoming challenges and meeting milestones. Despite having strong views, I am a team player and am always happy to accept the views and recommendations of my colleagues.
I live my life with openness, integrity and honesty, both within Tracker and in my personal life. An avid family man and outdoorsman, I have a passion for traveling, for camping and for biking and try to lead as balanced a lifestyle as possible.
